I haven't suggested NZ has superior summers -the discussion grew out a comment by Chicagogeorge made regarding non summers. tom77falcons responded with a comment about anecdotes, and it grew from there.
I do think NZ has superior summers, but that isn't the point I'm trying to make -if you go back to page 27 and read on from there, all will become clear.
If you're looking for actual summer weather then the Southern U.K far outdoes most of NZ. I don't see how you can dispute that.
Well, in the other thread I made a point about how useless anecdotes are, like when I spent time in Dubai, and it was wet, rainy, and relatively cool during the time I was there. I could have that experience and walk away telling everyone Dubai has a cool, wet climate.

Single anecdotes can be viewed separately to multiple consistent anecdotes -observation is the starting point in science.
If you and others had been to Dubai many times, and had that experience most of the time., that would be interesting
