I think we will reach 29C tomorrow, and that will be our warmest day this year.
I've changed my prediction of an awful summer now.

I think June will be above normal, July will be well above average, and August average. Hottest part of the summer will be mid-June to mid-July.

I don't think 30c will happen tomorrow, there is an easterly wind. I have noticed though that the GFS has extended our warm spell to mid week.

After this weekend, the forecast has temps slightly above average. Sunshine levels actually look normal, which is the big shock.

Not what? It is true that we have warmer summer lows. That's why our summer means are identical.

It does. But temps of 21-23c in early June isn't really a 'warm spell', it's just a bit above average.

It doesn't mean it cools down faster here because the temperature drops somewhere after 3 am because of the clear sky most nights. When it's cloudy at night, the lows are higher.

Well yes, the extra cloud cover in London will very likely keep it a bit warmer at night, and also the infamous UHI.
If London was as sunny as Seattle, then it'd probably be a bit different.
