Issaquah, Washington (elev 108' 33m) gets an average 5" (12.7cm) of snow while Snoqualmie Pass (elev 3022' 921m) 29 miles (46km) east gets 428" (1,087cm) for a difference of 423 inches (1,074cm)

Issaquah is a city 15 miles (24km) east of Seattle, Snoqualmie Pass isn't a city but does have a post office (98068), three large ski areas, a motel, gas station and about 150 year-round residents.
