Looks like winter in June in Massachusetts. Didnt realize Gypsy Moths would do this.

I been seeing dead trees a lot lately and I assumed it was the drought we had.

That looks horrible. I've seen a few trees here and there turning yellow but that's nothing in comparision.

How much rain did you receive in the past 4 weeks?

Past 4 about 3-6" region wide.

Past 3 months this... 12"+ of rain here.

why you ask? Do moths happen during wet periods?

yea, wet weather makes the gypsy moth population larger
