June 2003 had an average high low of 83.8 F/63.5 F. The hottest temperature was 93 F and the coldest was 47 F. But I was just about to turn 5 so I don't really remember it. The next coldest was 2012. That month had an average high/low of 86.8 F/62.5 F. However, the hottest it got was 105 F (the record high for June), and the coldest was 52 F (about normal for coldest June low). It was cooler than normal the first 17-18 days and then flipped to a warm pattern, with extreme heat only in the last two days.

June 2001 was the coolest during my lifetime. (9th coolest on record) Avg max/min was 87/68F.

If June 2017 were to end today, it would be the 2nd coolest on record, lol. Avg so far has been 85/67F.

2009 was my last memorable cool June. It was only the 20th coldest on record.

2003 was 11th coldest but I don't remember that one.
I could swear 2009 was cooler for Bridgeport, LaGuardia, Bradley International, Newark, and New York...

If you meant Brainard in Hartford then 2003 would be the coolest.....
