It's usually spring by that time here, but we can have some winter-like days with high in the 40's and lows in the 20's on april fools day

Days in the 40's F IS our spring weather.

It will likely be winter on Easter here, this year:
It looks like our highs will stay below 40 F for Easter,
and right now the we have plenty of snow piles up to my neck. (I'm 5'8")

That's a good question. Unfortunately, our weather is sporadic so sometimes it's still winter and sometimes it's spring already. I'm hoping this April Fool's Day is like spring.

Hopefully the temps are Spring like, but we will still be buried in snow here. I have 8-10' snowbanks in front of my house from the road, and 8 footers in the yard from clearing the driveway.

In Houston we never know what we're going to get on April Fools Day or Easter.

OMG, I had a childhood friend who had a birthday on April Fool's Day and she lives near Rapid. Can't remember which smaller town she lives in there. I think she's a bit older then you are though cause she'll be 52. And Happy Birthday early just in case I forget it.

Probably would qualify as summer in most places.

Highs in the upper 80s - low 90s under sunny skies.

Gets very cold at night. Down to about 60.
