2 smilar climates. Which one would you choose?

Erzurum's record lows from ''January to March'' are incorrect in wikipedia. The lowest temperature recorded in Erzurum was -37.2*C ( -35*F). It was recorded in December 2002.

They look very wrong, any one want to change them because it's kind of bothering me seeing -40 in March. I take Minneapolis.

More variability? What do you mean by that?

Erzurum is more comfortable in summer with those cooler lows and lower humidity, therefore it wins. Don't like either climate though (unsurprisingly)

Record highs are higher. The average record highs in Minneapolis are just as high it higher than many of the actual record highs in the other place and the record lows are similar.

Averages highs in July and August are close but average lows are too warm in Minneapolis in Summer. Average lows are too cool in Erzurum in Summer.

Day and Night temperature difference is so much in Erzurum in Summer (July and August).

Erzurum is allright, but I'd take Minneapolis for the warmer lows in the warm season.
