It's really not that uncommon for Pittsburgh to not have very few to zero 90° days. The NWS station is in the burbs - If it were 85+ we'd be along the same lines as Boston or Albany.
This is why I ***** when it's above 82 or 83 lol.
Interesting. Wish we had more suburb sites to collect data from but still interesting to see there considering some other areas around there got more.

The National Weather Service Pittsburgh office taking their observations where they do is about like the National Weather Service Atlanta office taking their observations at the base of Sawnee Mountain, near Cumming.
If it makes you feel any better, the high reading in Mount Washington at my apartment was 88° so right next to downtown it didn't hit 90 either lol.

Haha welcome to Pittsburgh. We (aka the burbs in particular) have some of the coolest temperatures in the summer (at ~40° lat and non high elevation) you'll get in the summer months in North America.
