Very likely this year will see a below average number of 90 degree days... awful trend in recent summers

From NYC:

Newark: 16

LaGuardia: 14

Central Park: 11

JFK Airport: 8

I imagine these are all close to average, but I could be wrong.

Instead of me simply posting the number of 90s map, my eyes went straight to something first...

Ranking for number of 90s this year.. WTF at Bridgeport?

Only July 3, NWS sent me a message saying they were sending out techs to investigate the weather station which was showing it was more warmer than usual there. That was July 3rd. None of this will get fixed probably. Such ashame. Really is.

Number of days 90°+. I only had 5 so far. None in sight for 10 days at least

It's never once reached 90f in my city, average high is upper 60s and this July has been cool and wet.

Awful summer here for someone who likes heat. Last summer was decent with 26 days at or above 90F (MDW averages 23). I don't think we will even end up with 10 this year, unless September opens up hot.
