87? Yeah hhighly doubt that. Maybe 83 or 84. All week they've been saying 85 and the best we've gotten is 82. Looking forward to the pattern shift this week. The humidity is definitely building up thus week.

High was 79° yesterday. Didn't quite get to the forecast of 81 due to clouds and a small storm moving through from 2 to 330. High of 82 today

neat. Jose keeping the continental ridge from building also keeps us from getting as hot and humid tomorrow and this weekend, right?

Today & Tomorrow yes but the core Ridge to our west which been giving midwest and OV heat is moving east. Kinda interesting squeeze we are in.

hoping it'd keep the core out a bit. Wish we had just two weeks of "mild" warmth — high 70 or low 80s with nights in the 50s instead of 60s and then heat wave. Guess that was August. NWS is only showing 85°F as a high for Monday. Speaking of destructive hurricanes, 79 years ago:

it was still a Category 1 when it entered Vermont! 18+ storm surge (including the tides) in Rhode Island.

Another beautiful slow pace day... loving it... drove 64 in a 70 and everyone else pretty much was around or a bit under speed limit on highway. Windows open, crisp warm air and some nice country music.
