You got the onshore effect from the storm, kinda like the reverse west windlfow i get off the gulf almost all of the summer. Since i live right on the gulf i have lows around 78 to 82 and insane dewpoints over 75. Not sure where you live, but i guess you were west of the storms center.

You think I am lying? I've put the link there, you can check it out yourself from that link on the page of 172 ( that link was for the lowest temperatures).

Most of the time, you will see Göle as the coldest place in Turkey throughout the year in the list.

However, Göle is having very high day and night temperature difference. The difference between day and night is very high.

Today in Göle, the low was -6.6℃ and the high was 17℃.

If you also want the link for the highest temperatures, Here it is. Choose "Genel" in the link, then write Göle. See Göle, which is the town center of Göle (GÖLE is written with big letters).

https://www.mgm.gov.tr/sondurum/en-y...cakliklar.aspx

You can do the same in the link that I put for the lowest temperatures on the page of 172. I am putting the link for the lowest temperatures once again:

https://www.mgm.gov.tr/sondurum/en-d...cakliklar.aspx

If you want to compare lows and highs in Göle with lows and highs in Ardahan, then without choosing "Genel", just write Ardahan. You will see all the weather stations in Ardahan Province.

Find both GÖLE and ARDAHAN in the list. They are written with big letters. You can compare the temperature differences between them.

Yeah, I live in Alexandria in the central part of LA.

Most of Louisiana and even much of Mississippi didn't really get much.

Oh yay, I'm right under the jet stream. Why can't it move south just a little?

Edit: Actually, it's going to move south. And north. And south. And north. Look at my fun temperature rollercoaster ride:

That low on Tuesday of 44F will be the lowest temperature so far (assuming it happens, which it probably won't, as forcasts usually predict lower temperatures here than what they actually are).
