Though I feel that such a prediction is premature at best, I will go ahead and put this prediction out for the Indianapolis area anyway: I feel that it is a distinct possibility that Indianapolis may not experience a freeze within the next two weeks, and, if the long range forecasts verify, Indianapolis may not even see a frost in the next two weeks, things could change a lot two weeks from now, but as of me typing this, those are my thoughts and predictions for the Indianapolis area.

The diurnal range here the past couple of days is among the smallest I’ve experienced, it’s probably the smallest for this duration (50+ hours).

10/08: 72.5 / 70.7 (22.5C / 21.5C)
10/09: 72.0 / 70.7 (22.2C / 21.5C)

My dew point has been greater than 70F for 63 hours and counting. Highly anomalous for October.
