When I stepped outside I was like "whoa, hmmm". lol But then as I started mowing and about 5 minutes into it, I was totally fine. After 30 minutes it felt like Spring but without sweating. max today 45F
I was wearing a sweater, not shorts. But rather comfy around 3 pm; as the sun went down felt much colder; toes were feeling a bit numb. Bah still are.

To be fair, most of the historic cold waves across the USA during the mid 70s thru to the late 80s were very dry here. Not much in the way of snow accompanying them, however they still packed a punch in terms of cold. Both the cold waves here in 13-14 were fairly similar - cold, but very dry. Not sure how they were out your way, but I'm assuming the 70s and 80s were very cold and dry as was 2013-14.

Not a chance lance. It will be record dry like last fall - winter. I had only around 3" from Oct 2016 thru mid May of 2017. I pray you are right and we get 40" of rain in 3 months, but i am never wrong on my long range out looks. Hot and wet don't go together in FL in the winter as we need upper level lift and energy to make rain in the winter this far south. With a flat upper level pattern we will get almost no rain like last winter and that you can take to the bank. We don't have our summer time weather machine to make rain in the winter due to colder water temps and a low sun.
It is just getting hotter and dryer as the years go by with our winters.
Well it shows you guys as being slightly below average/average which - judging from your posts - would probably feel like an icebox at this point.
Anything normal would be a ice box after the last 6 record hot winters. I would love to be wrong, but i live this stuff and eat it and sleep it 24/7 and i am never off on my long range stuff. But i would love to see another 2010 when he had highs in the 50's for 3 months solid.

You will get your cold winter soon. After our huge 2008-09 snowfall, it was getting pretty painful watching the east break cold/snow records every winter while we basked in record warmth. Finally, the trend reversed last winter as we experienced our coldest winter since 1992-93.
