Snow is not unusual in S. Africa, and they have a few ski resorts in the Drakensberg Mtns. Hills around Cape Town a bit rare, but not unheard of.
I needed a jacket in Kruger even in the spring.

Exactly, what a sh*t thread title. It's like saying "SNOW IN MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA" and it's instead reports of snow on top of Mt Macedon (~1100m).

I can see the idea that the OP of this thread is trying to propagate, the OP is obviously trying to make it clear that the planet isn't warming uniformly, in other words, there are some parts of the planet which aren't actually getting any warmer than they were before, but shhhhhh....., we don't want the AGW alarmists to get a hold of articles like this one
