So I've seen Morro Bay discussed on here before, particularly regarding its extreme seasonal lag, but I don't recall ever seeing any thread about Adigrat. The Wikipedia climate section describes it as a typical Mediterranean climate; yet to me it seems like anything but typical, with its somewhat topsy-turvy temperature curve.
Adgirat can't be mediterranean since it's within the tropics. I'm torn. Both are great, but I think I'll take Adgirat today, mostly because the rain will be warmer.
Very tight, but I'd guess Adrigat's temps will be in some completely insane UV radiation given altitude and latitude, which renders comfy 25-ish temps useless for me as a white person.
Adigrat seems a bit more exciting. I'm not a big fan of diurnal variation, it would kind of suck to go somewhere during the day in a T-shirt and then freeze my butt off when coming back at night. So Morro Bay is a bit better in that regard, but I'm not a big fan of climates where it's too cool for T-shirts but too hot for hoodies. So I guess I'm going with Adigrat although neither are ideal (but not completely horrible either).
I agree. Probably the only thing it's good for is opening the windows in summer. With the winds by the coast it's nice.
Morro Bay is not far away where I live. Summers are usually cool and foggy. It is the mildest city in the area, but in just around 30 miles it can be 105F in Paso Robles while it can be only 60F in Morro Bay.
