I'll give it a C for the cool summers. Winters are a bit too brutal for me - if I have to deal with temps like that, there'd better be snow.

Not much fun to be had in Mongolia in general...

That's a FAIL even by coastal California standards. Only suitable for people that do not give the slightest s**t about weather nor are interested in swimming at the beach. Absolute s**t climate. No summers, cool winters for SOCAL standards, and no thunderstorms for the same reason for the useless crummers. I streetviewed the place, all those palm trees are a LIE

had to give it an F....way cold. I did work in Mongolia for 16 months and loved the experience but it is super cold.

Some months can be variable, while others can be monotonous, especially in Summer.

No, its for some people who don't like to feel too cold or hot and like lots of sunshine. Those temperatures are so comfortable all year. Swimming in the sea could be done when you get summer heatwaves. And considering the Isles of Scilly in the UK have palm trees, I can't see any reason why they wouldn't grow here.
