Typical wet and snowy humid continental tripe that is also cloudy and has cool summers on top of that. Nothing redeeming about it. Also, it seems more like a subpolar oceanic climate like Kiandra in Australia than a standard continental climate to me.
F+. Far out, what a nightmare. Had no idea St Johns has such a horrendous climate. Deadset crummerless, freezing winters, cloudy as hell, ludicrous amount of snow and rain days. There is no excuse for this at 47*N.
One of the worst inhabited climates in the world aside from the usual subarctic suspects - and even then they at least have an excuse - subarctic latitudes!
I am a fan of cold/snowy winters but I like the snow to stop in March. St John's can have single digit highs (C) in June! Even Yellowknife warms up faster and has a lot better summers than this place despite being located in the Northwest territories.
Summers are way too cold and wet. Autumn looks nice though.

I'm pretty sure 'E' isn't used in grading in the US. We use it here, and presumably you do in Australia too?
Winter is too long, and you're not rewarded with any kind of spring or summer, then straight back to winter again. If it was sunny, it'd be much more bearable, but it isn't.
Personally, I'd give it a 'nope'. For the thread I give it an F.
Almost E, way too much snow and spring is almost non existent.
