That's what Im thinking. I know she wants to see grandkids, but I cant imagine having kids now, or in five years, or maybe even ten. I want to travel the world before ever settling down. Youre totally right man
Definitely do not let her desires for grandkids influence what you do. You are your own boss, if you don't want kids, certainly do not have them, because that is when people screw themselves, their child and their lives. Your mum will just have to accept it, she has no right to coerce you, foist her antiquated cultural ideologies on you, or make you feel guilty.
British/American shows form the bulk of the viewing here, then Australian and NZ shows.
I grew up with shows like the Tomorrow People, Land of the Giants, Coronation Street, The Waltons, Fawlty Towers, Bewitched, the Generation Game, the Donny and Marie Show, and of course, the ultimate ..... Planet of the Apes.
There are like more ads than the actual games. Especially on the NFL.
I dont get how that many people watch NFL broadcasts when theres heaps of ads. The NFL in australia is broadcast on Channel 7 but they reduce the ads to normal australian standards. Kinda watchable without the tonnes of ads.
Yeah, but even so there's more to life than partying, and I definitely don't associate 'peak years' with being drink all the time. At the end of the day it's what you make it.
I do find it hilarious when people in their early 20's start getting nostalgic and talking as if all their best days are behind them.
I've noticed that Irlinit speaks this way

Even funnier are the people who think their "best days" were during high school. These are usually people around my age who were "popular" in high school and ended up being losers in the real world. Pathetic. I would probably off myself if my life peaked at like 16 years old. Lol.
Another thing I find odd is people who are like 20 who talk about "kids these days do this, kids these days do that" blah blah blah. You'd swear they're 50 and were kids decades ago.
