Wow that is crazy stuff! Lots of ice....be careful everyone. Sleet/ice coming down here now, hoping it will change back to snow.

Should change to snow there once the air drops below freezing aloft again which should be tonight.

1:20pmEST map. It's a Potpourri event today. Ice, Sleet, Snow, Rain.


The freezing line at 5000' has pushed north all the way to near Montreal. Montreal is still in the teens & 20s at surface. So their snow is changing to sleet and ice now because of the warm layer above.

Tons of ice here in Northeast Connecticut. It's just nuts. Everything is encased in it, and our road looks like a hockey rink.
