I've been keeping track of the latest model updates. Newer runs are slowly shifting the low farther and farther west. Latest run now has snow along the SC coast Wed night.
No frozen precip here today. Just some showers this morning, then clearing up. 35F at 7 PM with wind chill of 26F. Forecast to get down to 20F tonight.
Just saw where the Canadian model shows snow over south Louisiana Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
Some very light rain now and maybe a string of highs in the 50's for a few days. Still no super low temps. but maybe some 30's for once. Nothing compared to the first week in 2010 when it was much colder.
Nice and snowy this week...we might as well exceed 100 snowfall days this year!

You live in ICELAND which will obviously be cold even with Global Warming. What about that 16°C that was reached a couple of winters ago, despite the sun only reaching a few degrees above the horizon in winter?

Scarlet Flutter (our HOPEFULLY, Resident Cardinal), returned on New Years Eve, flashing his color wherever he lit! All the birds are so fluffly they look like fledglings and makes one long to stroke them, as one would a baby chick.
Another beautiful day at Birch Meadows with the fragrance of a hearty breakfast drawing one into the kitchen!
