Which I like. Not a fan of bright sun at 9:30 PM.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for that morning motivation of sunlight. Not liking the extra daylight in evening though but is what it is. I wouldn't mind sun past 5pm but hate it after 7pm.

This week overall.. $1,000,000 question is; will that bottled up Arctic air dive down into the U.S again in February?

Late this week. Jet Stream rises to Quebec and eastern U.S & South continues to be warm

Real question is if the cold moves east? Last time the epo ridge was further east so the cold was further east. This time around the ridge may be further west so the cold will also be further west.

The strange thing is that I always tended to take vacations and trips northern WI and the western UP of MI, and I didn't have any idea that they had a high percentage of the population with Finnish ancestry until after I did more research. It was interesting because it was one of those areas where I felt at home immediately even though I had never lived there or had any family or relatives there.

Wow it's snowing so hard! I love it!!! This is making up for those spring-like days. It's also surprisingly warm out only 30. I feel the house is too hot so I lowered the thermostat a little bit. But it's coming down hard. My porch had no snow on it this morning now I measured two inches

Nice to see Plains and Mid West getting a blizzard. I was beginning to think only the Northeast coast gets them. lol

I call this the screw zone. Poor folks in the "dry slot" are missing out on the heavy snowstorm/blizzard

Typical to see a dry slot for a strong storm.

Doubt it.... impossible for the west to see historic Arctic outbreaks...it will definitely slide east of the rockies.

No, 130+ desert heat like the Middle East is the worst.
