87 in Orlando is gonna be year round in some of you guys lifetimes. Already seen huge jumps in year round temps in my area just the last 7 years.

Latest Euro has a consistent SouthEast Ridge look. Here comes my Early Spring prediction I had?

This week. Jet stream dips over the Rockies while a 588DM core builds over Florida and Gulf.

Northeast will have a zonal flow but means still above normal with 50s and 60s. The only saving grace would be clouds, rain and a surface cold front that would prevent an extreme warmup. I expect to see 70s up to Virginia. That means 70s all over SC/NC.

Next week... No saving grace with this. . lol I'm moving out West. . Skiiers out west will love this pattern. Floridians will hate it. constant 80s for days on end most likely up to NC if this happens. 60s in NYC

Dead locked baby. We are done for the year. Now it's 4 months of heat and no rain. I am back to hating the weather like normal. We can never get any upper level energy with that high locked in like that.

I think yesterday was the third day in the 80s for many areas of Florida. I was watching a Youtuber from down there and they are putting fertilizer down on their lawn, mowing, treating the pools, ect. So funny to see.

I can believe this. I've been following weather since the 1980’s and south Florida was never in the 80’s (F) this much in the winter time. Mostly 70’s and 60’s with occasional 80’s. Now it’s like 80’s are the default and 60’s & 70’s are the exception.

We had quite the little icing event yesterday morning but I wasn't able to get on here to mention it. Fortunately it was Sunday. Only about a tenth of an inch or so of ice but our street and driveway were just an ice rink. I heard stories (unverified) of people falling on ice and breaking bones. Also heard of at least one person who couldn't get their car in their driveway and had to leave it in the street and get up to the house through the grass as the driveway was too slick. Roads are all just fine and dry this morning. But driveways facing north or surrounded by trees were still covered in ice as the temperature never got above 28 degrees yesterday. Today the sun is out and temps should climb just above freezing. Looking for the high to possibly hit 60F on Thursday before dropping back into the 30s on Friday.
