Today's high temp was 18.9°C, 2.2°C below average; and this mornings low was 10°C, 1.7°C above average

Currently 17.2°C with a dewpoint of -5°C at 5pm Mountain Time

We should have a dedicated Lake Effect snow thread. Would be fun to keep track of each year.


My sister lives in Cuba NY. Brother inlaw mentioned he was outside the belt and there's always a sharp cutoff when big outbreaks happens. They are still in the 3-12" zone this time.

Should be fun tracking this and seeing pictures from around Buffalo.

I will keep updates for sure!!! I live in far southern erie county, and I have to commute right into the southern suburbs Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I have driven through absolutely horrifying weather, so this should not be too awful...

maps have it lasting till the 14th. Past that is long-range not as accurate so hard to know if the warm-up will happen; you think it's solid?
