Winter weather advisories have been issued for areas just to the south and east. Local meteorologist is still saying a max of half an inch of snow accumulation is still possible in Alexandria.

Our snow event in Tampa FL was even more anomalous back in Jan 1977.

Current radar and who's reporting what.. I don't remember seeing a heavy snow discussion outlined that far south in Texas recently. I could be wrong. Maybe not in December?
