One could only hope............I don’t know about you, but I am dreading what old man winter might be cooking up for people in the Midwest and Northeast........
Looks like there may be a major pattern change around Christmas that favors the PNW for cold/snow.
Hard to sustain a pattern for multiple weeks so makes sense. Hopefully it will be just a blip or 1-2 week relaxation period. I need at least 2 deep cold snowy winter months please.

Here's a loop past 4 hrs. 7:40-11:40pmEST. First note the purple returns (very heavy snow rates) in Atlanta suburbs, then they had a break with dryness, now looks like new moisture feed back into NW burbs there. WOW!! And what about the snow in Mobile..

Well that's rare. Big snow storm passed south of me in early December.
