I think Westerners often have very different views from Chinese.

I suppose most weather fans know about Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, at least.

No frosts, well watered year-round, good amount of sunshine, a toasty summer but also a significantly cooler period for half the year.

Beijing is also pretty good. Plenty of sunshine and relatively mild temperatures most of the year.

I'd say multiple locations in Yunnan province and Hainan island are better though, like

I dont think that should count. If we look at the list of pollution by city around the world, there are alot of cities more polluted than those Chinese cities which we might not think about:
