The most similar city identifies, for the observed period of recent weather, where in the United States the 30-year normal maximum and minimum temperature are most similar.
The most similar city is calculated using a Euclidean distance formula based on maximum and minimum temperatures.
Temperatures for the selected stations are compared to climate normals for different cities across the country.
(Max Temp, Min Temp) values are based on 1981-2010 normals data for this station, averaged over each period.
The Euclidean distance formula is calculated for the period as follows:

It's called Weather Similarity but actually seems to measure climate similar to a selected location.
What location does your recent weather compare to?
