This is NOT accurate or exact & to suggest otherwise shows you know very little about meteorology/climatology...

Malta (Luqa) has an average high of 19.8C in April, the warmest summer month at Scilly St. Mary's is August with 19.7C. Luqa has 261hrs of sunshine in April, St. Mary's has 203hrs in August. Luqa has 20.7mm of rainfall in April (over 4 days) & St. Mary's has 67.2mm (over 9.7 days). The sun in Malta is stronger in April too, so no it is not going to feel similar at all...

And 28C as an average high is warm, as a record high it is pathetic.
Selsey is sunniest.

Nitpicking little differences won’t get you anywhere, as apparently I’m not allowed to do that with UK.

April sun in Malta would be about the same as a UK summer. Selsey is very similar to Malta in April. 0.1C difference as well lol.

Also I said Malta was drier, you didn’t listen. Annual rainfall is similar to many areas of the south west.

Isles of Scilly in July have far more in common with Valletta in April than they do with kinlochewe in July, this is just getting ridiculous now

Yes, he knows stuff-all about meteorology/climatology - waste of time arguing with him.

R Wood , people say there is not much difference between UK climates and yet then they say there are big differences between the Isles of Scilly in July and Malta in April

I know more than you do, you just don’t accept the facts

Because they say that it doesn’t reach into the 90s in summer which is demonstrably false and they are taking the stereotypical view and won’t accept the actual FACTS.

I'm guessing you have never been to the Scillies or Malta? I have been to both & summer in the Scillies is absolutely nothing like April in Malta

You didn’t spend 30 years on the Isles of Scilly and then Malta, so the weather boxes know better than you

And you clearly have not been to either place, or Selsey I imagine

Averages only tell half the story, if you knew anything about meteorology you would know this...
