Agree with you concurrently, I am SO glad that I am in Fort Worth Texas right now, I have more faith in the European Weather Model than I have EVER had for the GFS, kudos to Cambium for directing people to find city charts from the Euro, I would have looked more into the Euro if I had known a way to get to their Model data before, the latest temperature data from the Euro is showing lows between -10 F and -17 F for the greater Indianapolis metro area for the last few days of 2017 and for the first week of 2018, meanwhile low temperatures here in Fort Worth Texas May not even fall below 20 F the next 10 days if the Euro Model forecasts verify.

^^^^^^^^^^^

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but, if you think that this winter is anomalously cold, just wait another year or two and I think you’ll see that this may well be just the beginning of a major and sustained cooling epidsode in this part of the globe.

Current temperature 3F, WCI value of -18F, visiting family in central NH. Low tonight should be in the -9 to -16F depending on whether the winds finally calm down tonight. High today was 6F, 13 inches of snow on the ground.

Everyone above that line is dead!!! RAID THE FRIDGE!!!

We're getting pinched by it down here in the eastern NM plain's as well. But so long as the ice stays off the ground, I'll be sporting my two wheels and leaving the MRAP parked in the driveway where it belongs.
