I pay California taxes so I can enjoy low to mid-60s through all of this...plus we might actually get rain next week.

Coastal CT forecast on Left. Inland CT on right. A Stat Below.

So Averaging these lows for the coast = 10.1°F

The lowest 7 day Avg Minimum for end of December for Bridgeport at the coast is 14.1°F in 1980. This is impressive for December. (Records since 1948)

This is when it pays to be on the coast, even then it’s cold.

I like the feel of a couple of degrees below freezing, feels brisk, refreshing,
but not temps way below freezing. I don’t get how some people like it.

It's unusually cold here, too.

Still, I will take this over a heat wave any day.

We are having lots of lake effect snow going on here Some parts of Erie got over 30"; we got around 16".

Wondering how much more will fall between now and Wednesday afternoon...

It may not get out of the 20s for three straight days while I'm in Berea, KY. But it's not supposed to snow so I'm very unhappy. This is useless, wasted cold. Maybe a bit of novelty fun but there's no point of it being 20 if it looks no different from 40 or 50. Also this suppressed storm track means snow keeps missing me to the south. I'm sure it will switch to a torch pattern in mid January so I won't see any snow this winter.

So is weather.com or accuweather more accurate? The google weather seems to match weather.com and it looks like this in the first attachment. Just below freezing and snow. I am north of Houston so this is not common. The second forecast has it with no snow at all but the low temperature is 11F/-11.8C. The record low here is 5F/-15C. I will possibly be moving to Minnesota next year so I suppose this is a very slight taste of winter. I am excited to at least experience some cold weather/snowy for once after the weather being in the 70s and sometimes 80s for last winter here.

Not where I am. Lucky to be able to wear long sleeves. I don't want to freeze, but it sure would be nice to get some of that cold weather.
