Warmed up today and steady seeing to see the sun with my new Lunt 60mm solar scope. Lots of detail and proms coming off the disk of the sun.

I will never have to worry about not seeing the sun here.

I'd be fine with having no more precip for the rest of the month

(granted it's TWC's 14 day which tends to be either too wet or too dry in the extended)

Ha, yeah, forget being an astronomer here. Would be frustrating with all the clouds. Those scopes are huge. Look professional

This evenings Upper height and 850mb temps. Mid Level temps surging in the south. Cant push up the East with that ULL there.

Anyone see the temps in Oklahoma today?? 90s. Wasn't it in the 30s couple mornings ago? Here's Wichita, Texas Temps this month

Upper Level low leaving the Northeast but taking its time. 37° here and its snowing just 20 minutes north of here. Unreal. I might miss some flakes to report a Trace. Oh well.

That one there is small. I have had some over 1000lbs. Once you get into the 80mm and bigger solar scopes they get very pricey at over 4k to the sky is the limit on the price tag.

To put into perspective.. NYC max temps have been near where the normal lows are for almost half this month!

That 82°F feels super strange after so much cold. Wasn't used to any warmth. I thought we had some upper 50s days, this is terrible.
