Time to move to NWPA, the clouds, storms, and lake have saved them from this heat wave

83F is too hot for May I'm okay with humid but 83F really shouldn't happen until late July and then only very rarely, lol. I lived in the South for a while and I am just done with that.

It's 70F here right now and raining with some wind; it feels great

I love being in the snow/cloud belt here. You are welcome to come up here, we have 50's and 60's forecast for the rest of the week.

Got a ways to go. Could be some build ups this weekend with a low coming our way from the southeast. Could give us enough lift to give us a few T - storms. Not sure where you are in Fl.

Still waiting for our first 90 degree day in Austin. SE wind from the Gulf bringing 71-73 dewpoints and cloudy skies with temps in the mid to upper 80's. Okay weather but I prefer sunnier and drier weather.

Next week the winds shift from the Southwest and temps near 90 with lower humidity so it'll be nice. Hoping to get a few dry sunny 90 degree days so I can hit the lake. I went swimming last weekend, water temp was 68 in Lake Travis and daytime temp was 80 so still too cool. Need some nice 90 degree days to start warming that water up. Hoping, crossing fingers. I like it at least mid 70's water temp for comfort with around 92-94 air temp.
