Doors and Windows open this morning and you can tell its going to be hot and humid today. No Chicadas yet.


Should get some good growth this weekend with the heat and humidity.


This mornings soil temp (white line) in my garden bed is the highest of the year. (68.3°)

And check out those max temp swings (red line). Should hit upper 80s today

I have had only around .40" of rain the last 3 days. Don't really need any for about 3 days. Seems i always get it all at once and them nothing for weeks. Even since i got them solar scopes it's been cloudy the last 4 weeks+.

No 90's yet for my area and that is a first i can remember. This could be the most cloudy May i have never had since keeping records in the late 70's. But it is not the wettest by far unless something freaky happens over the next few days. Had about 5" total so far.

The Lop sided TS will keep us cloudy for the weekend, but i am not seeing any heavy rain it seems from this system.

Up to 86 F/30 C at noon. Dewpoint this morning was 69 F/21 C but it dropped down to 59 F/15 C.

What depth is the soil temperature recorded at?

November 26th here last spring was 20.8 C at 10 cm and 21.9 C at 20 cm.
