First day of Spring here in Indianapolis is an odd one. Currently sitting at 56 degrees with rain but planning for the temperature to drop through the low 40s by the time I leave work this afternoon as the front comes through with winds increasing to 35-40 mph. Normally for March 1st we'd have a high of 45 and a low of 28. But while the first day of Spring will be much warmer than normal, the next week actually looks very normal for this time of year here. Highs mainly in the mid to upper 40s and lows in the mid to upper 20s with some overnight snow possible early next week.

Yay spring is here! Highs in 40s returning for a few days even some above freezing lows and rain. Lets see how much snow will melt before the next snowfall. Spring is like fall. Its that anticipation. In fall I anticipate the gorgeous colours of the leaves in spring I anticipate the snow to melt and flowers and leaves to return. Its still a while til then but, a day at a time
Mark my word, the first two weeks of March could be downright volatile, with wild temperature swings, I predict the second half of March will be relatively more stable temperature wise.
