It’s been a colder than normal March in the Indianapolis area, there doesn’t appear to be any end to this pattern any time soon either. I am envious of my family down in Fort Worth Texas, I’ve heard the growing season has started for them already.
Must be greening up down south for sure. Feels like we just started winter again. It's Flurrying this afternoon with the sun in and out. FLURRIES making it to the surface. lol

Might be similar although that year we hit 50s 5 times here. We only hit it once and might not rest of month.

On that note.........
So........March 2018... 40 inches of snow in Worcester, MA makes this the 2nd snowiest March on record & still 18 days to go. They need 4.2" more to be the snowiest.
Albany: 3rd snowiest March so far
Boston: 7th snowiest March so far
Even Lexington, Kentucky in on this action.. 8th snowiest March so far
Talk about the weather doing a complete 180 degree flip, the National Weather Service is hinting at the possibility of a light wintry mix of precipitation for the Indianapolis area this weekend, still don’t think the Indianapolis area will see a paralyzing winter storm though, and since winter ends on March 21st, what snow we do get probably won’t stick around for more than a few days.

Per bolded, it was obviously warmer on the 95 corridor than inland. Rochester didn't hit 50°F once that whole March (2001) and had over 40 inches of snow!
Spoke too soon... Awesome squall and guess what just happened??? Add 0.1" to my season total and that makes it an even 40.0" now! I was worried I'd end at 39.9! lolol

The dew points have been so dry it bothers my skin jen. This is why i could never live in the southwest. About 60f for a high today. Nothing crazy cold this month, but many days with highs in the 60's and high 50's. But nothing like March 1980 when it was 29 in Tampa on the 3rd.
Not much snow in southeast Michigan this month, ground is mostly bare but ugh ugh ugh do I hate March in the Midwest. This should be spring yet I know the dead brown landscape will last on and on. Temperatures are below normal so it will be even worse than usual.

Wow you got a lot. We had a very brief period of light to moderate snow (very small flakes) this afternoon, no accumulation though, so technically a trace.

Uh, that’s why people plant tons of coniferous trees in their properties in the Midwest to add greenery in the Winter. Three good suggestions are Balsam Fir, Norway Spruce, and White Pine.
