Recording every month of the past 10 years to see recent climate trends is very tedious. Is there a better way?

Can anyone help Alex?

Only thing I can suggest is to download the data in raw format from a government web site, load it into an electronic spreadsheet, (LibreOffice is available for all operating systems at no cost), and run your arithmetic on the columns.
