Probably Chicago for best 4-season climate with fairly predictable seasons and good precip. which encourages abundant vegetation.

Sarajevo would be good if its summer record lows weren't so darn cold. -2.7 C as a record in July? Even Winnipeg has never recorded that.

Beijing is too dry and dusty in winter and spring.

Minsk and Amsterdam have too-cool summers.

Climate of Sarajevo is specific, because Sarajevo is surrounded by mounains from all sides which are high 1500-2100 m.

Meteorological station in Sarajevo is at altitude 518 m.

I think that lowest record of -2,7c in July was in 19th or in early 20th century.

I’m going for Minsk because Chicago’s summers are a bit too warm for my liking. Beijing would be good if the precipitation pattern was reversed.

Going to go with Beijing here. Though the winters are a little chilly, it's a lot sunnier than the cloudy, higher-latitude Amsterdam.

That said, if I were to consider the pollution issues in Beijing along with the climate, I'd probably go with Chicago, being the second-sunniest in the winter on this list (the winter temperatures are also similar, though I'm assuming that with Beijing's drier winters that it sees more temperature swings). Though Chicago does have sunnier summers than Beijing.

1. Sarajevo - snowy but not too cold winters and pleasant summers

2. Minsk - winters are colder than I like but much better than Moscow for example, rest of year is perfect

3. Chicago - winters are little colder than I like but not bad, springs and autumns are good, summers are too hot

4. Amsterdam - winters are too mild, rest of year is not bad

5. Beijing - too dry winters and too hot and wet summers

Sarajevo for having a med vibe. All are horrible in their own ways though.
