Doubtful. Tomorrow is the last warm day, then temperatures return closer to normal.

Further into March.. who knows. Wouldn’t surprise me if we get more warm records over the coming months.

In that case I think this could be one of those records that stands for a very long time.

As interesting as it is, it's terrible for the environment. I've been seeing lots of insects and flowers emerging that shouldn't be appearing for at least another month, I was even attacked by a wasp earlier. Some typical March cold could prove devastating for them.

Possibly, but the only direction is up at this point. Sooner rather than later we’re going to break 40C.

Yep very impressive indeed. Beat the old record (prior to yesterday) by 1.5C so absolutely smashed the old record! Having said that the previous record was mid month so I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. It’s similar to our April record of 29.8C or whatever which was mid month too

It was 29.4 at Camden Square on 16 April 1949.

Appears to be pretty cool in southern eastern europe places though. Like only 11c high in Athens or Istanbul but it's gonna be 18c in Brussels ?
