super dry here, dewpoint fell below -10c ! We also stayed below freezing all day, which had not happened in a long time.
Cold morning, but really, -5c with dry air feels less cold than the regular 3c 100% humid winter morning.
What sucks big time here is two straight days of continuous rain just above freezing and when the temperature finally drops we only have a few flurries and that's it.
When I think our winter average temps are very similar to Washington DC and we can' t even manage to have snow on the ground more than a handful of days a year, what a failure of a winter climate this is !
More stations show up as you zoom in so here are 3 zoom levels...
In F° . Current temps. 8:30pm maps.. (19:30z)
And here's the metar map. Cool to see all those stations reporting snow in Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria. I don't usually see that many that far south. A lot of them are low elevation (under 1000')

As for the surface temps, nothing to see here. The wind and absence of snow means it will be nowhere as old as up at the 850 hPa level. What a waste of a cold airmass.

Apples and oranges, the northern Med is much cooler in winter.
