Yes but the last time I looked at the forecast it said today's high would be 3°C!
Forecasts are somethimes wrong.
Here in winter often is happening colder and in summer warmer weather than forecast say. There are also errors for precipitations and other meteorological factors.
I was not outside for long with my dogs but brrrr. I have very much sympathy for those up in the Chicago, IL, ND, MN and everywhere that is experiencing such cold - real temps.

-21 C (-6F) this morning at 4:00 AM in my little town. At least there is no strong wind and two of our outside vehicles started; the other one is currently on the charger!
