Nice temperatures, definitely the best summer in Europe. Oddly, I went to Malta last September, for a few days, and the weather was terrible. On the three days I was there we had a high of 21°C and constant high winds. It was to windy to even go on a boat ride, and the sun didn't shine once. My luck with weather has been awful recently.

That's odd as the coolest temperature I recorded last September was 24.5C on the 28th. The month was above average by 1.4C & was drier than average too. We had a couple of thunderstorms on the 20th & 21st.
I just checked the data from the airport & there were 3 windy days that month on the 26th-28th & their coolest temperature was 23.6C on the 27th, that day was the least sunniest of the month too with just 0.4hrs recorded.

Yeah I was there late in the month, on one day it was mild overnight but all afternoon stayed around 22°C if I remember. Could have been 27th, looking back. I then went back on 29th and that day was warm and sunny.

Looks like you had very bad luck picking the worst 3 days of the month to visit.

Not only that but I also had the worst weather when I went to Naples as well in May, all the days I went there were below average and it also rained a lot. But that month was above average as well except the days I went there.
