Today's forecast low is 21°C and forecast high is 34°C.
The hottest temp so far here was 34.5°C in this summer. It is so sad that İzmit can't even see 35°C in summer. Last year it couldn't hit 35°C either. The highest was 34s.
All time records are really deceiving because they are very exceptional. Where I live has an all time record of 44.1°C but it couldnt even hit 35°C for the last 2 summers. One should not let all time records fool oneself cause they are so exceptional.
You gotta be happy in İzmit if it can hit 35°C. Temperatures reached 34°C a few times but no 35°C sadly.
Hottest highs in İzmit this year so far;
One high 34.5°C, which happened in early August.
One high of 34.3°C, which happened in July.
One high of 34°C, which happened in Late May.
But no 35°C sadly.
And again a forecast high of 34°C today. Shame.
