It seems that this summer is pretty hot in UK.
In Serbia in the last 20 days it was a lot of rain, and temperature was often below average.
Today here in my town maximum was 20c, and it was cloudy with periods of rain.

Lots of high pressure blocking around these last few months, ridging over the UK a lot because the jet stream is very far to the north. There hasn't been a summer settled/warm spell this substantial since perhaps 2003, IIRC.
