Commute was tough getting in. Around 6 am looking at Potomac Avenue in the city of Pittsburgh. Very steep street. People know how to drive in the snow around here!
Heavy snow in my yard around noon during the Foureaster (Weird to call it, we usually aren't affected by noreasters often.
Driving around 2:30 pm. Traffic was light (unusual, but nice). Visibility was very poor though.
March 24, 2018. Lilac buds itching for Spring. Usually more swollen by now.
March 25, 2018. Welcome to Connecticut.
March 26, 2018. Snow squall came through. Missed the snow flakes.
March 27, 2018.. They're filling in the outdoor area. Still empty on left side which is where flowers and veggies go.
March 28, 2018. What's the purpose of color at this point...aside from the house.
March 29, 2018. 35° to 53°F.
March 30, 2018. 45° to 59°F
Just in time to catch the 1 hour of sunlight. 3 days straight of miserable clouds and drizzle. hours before and after this shot it was cloudy and drizzle again.
Look close and you'll see the Willow Tree back there yellowing up.
I wish I had more green and color to show you. Not yet.
Golf course near here. Elevation under 200 feet.
Day #2 in a row with snow on ground now. Crazy. And it all refroze last night since it dropped below freezing so might take a bit longer. Especially without sun.
Had storms this evening. Sky looked pretty rough as the storms approached and some strong wind gusts (severe tstorm warning was in effect), but not really that much rain so far. It could pick up again soon.
What are the odds my backyard Maple Tree will look like that in 2 weeks?? 2012 was nuts though. Everything was blooming in March. I'll try to do more comparisons this yr
