I'm going to simply guess the ridge top has been more North then usual so it's bringing hotter temps North more. How about other sites nearby? Idaho? Montana? Vancouver? Similar? or does Seattle stand alone in that craziness?

I don't think it's just Seattle, but I have no stats for other cities.

relatively dry today; poured for like 15 minutes around 11:30 am.

Just checked. Since 7am 0.37". Not bad. (I empty it everyday at 7am)




7am-7am totals:

7/22: 0.68"
7/23: 0.31"
7/24: 0.16"
7/25: 0.01"
* 7/26: 0.37"

Just a quick check here's Great Falls, Montana Hottest Julys. 4 of the Top 8 happened in the past 12 yrs. Similar but not as crazy as Seattle. Maybe too many people living in Seattle now.
