Chicagogeorge, are there any indications as to what precipitation levels will be like for this summer for the plains and Midwest? I am starting to suspect that this summer may well be much hotter and possibly much drier than average across the Great Plains and the Midwestern United States, what years are the closest analogue’s for this summer season, if I knew any better I feel I should expect another 2012 this summer, or perhaps like 2010 or 2011.
Lots of lift and rain south of Cuba. I don't see it becoming a full blown tropical storm as upper level sheer this time of year is pretty bad. It could become a lop sided tropical storm were the core heavy rain and weather is well away from the storm center.
