Another morning in the 70s and humid and guess what.............Thunderstorms again.


In motion last 4hrs. Thunderstorm over Long Island overnight and Thundering in NYC area right now.

Flash Flooding outlined in Green boxes so Torrential downpours happening. (only under those reds really)

3:15-7:15am Loop

I've had some mid to upper 80's highs this week, which is normal for here. Dews have been a little higher in the upper 60's. After today though, our highs never go above about 83 for daytime highs, many days in the upper 70's. I'm also noticing the lows trend is going down several degrees to about 60. Signaling the end of summer?

Btw: I live "in the woods". Literally. I am bordered by national forestland. I am seeing some leaves starting to change. Some of the spots where I usually see the first signs of fall are starting to turn.

early for thunderstorms; with the cooler temperatures up here we'll get mostly steady rain with few thunderstorms

Sun finally coming out after a rather cloudy and foggy morning and early afternoon; I still don’t think that the high temperature will make it to the mid 80’s let alone the lower 80’s.

Damn, that is hotter than Indianapolis area has been this year, The hottest it’s been in Indy has been around 95 F.
