Dewpoints. Heat index seems a little wishy-washy to me - the sites that use them here always show a heat index lower than the actual temperature, even when it seems warmer.

Love this east flow. Getting a good frog killer now. Love this pattern as i have had rain 3 days in a row. Dew points are not as bad and lows are in the mid 70's vs the reverse west windflow with no rain and lows in the 80's and dew points around 75+.

^^^^^^^^^^

Perhaps if you would stop griping and complaining, perhaps you would get the sort of weather you actually enjoyed.

Pattern flip flops back to a reverse west windflow Thurs so back to the weather i hate. It all depends on where the axis of high pressure is. If the axis is south of my area i hate it and when it is north i love it.

Back in the 50's thru the 70's a southeast windflow was our normal pattern, then something changed in the mid 80's and over time we have a west wind flow much more than a east flow in the summer.

85% west flow and around 12% east flow with a null flow about 3% of the time were the pattern is dead and we get no motion with the showers.

Our summer weather is never 100% the same each day. The timing of the rain will vary, some days there is no rain at all anywhere in the state and some days we have super strong T- storms.

West flow means super high dew points and super high lows and lower highs for the west coast, while a east flow means lower lows and lower dewpoints and higher highs. Gulf temp is 90 so it is like a steam bath when we have a west flow 24/7. Cold upper levels help with stronger T storms. High pressure on top of us aloft puts a cap on lift and with no lift then no T storms.

I am sure none of you understand my weather since you live in other states and i sure don't understand what is normal for you guys in other states.

I’m wondering if that 68° for us might’ve been an error. Notice how it spikes back up again. I was outside at the time and it still felt oppressive.

I was gonna say that's one decent drop probably a glitch but... it rained between hours so its believable. As soon as it cleared up back up the humidty went as the ground was bit moist.
