The location is in the Northern Cape of South Africa... I don't think anywhere in Northern Australia can get that cold.

A one night break from the frost two nights ago, but back into it again. 22mm of rain yesterday with a bit of frozen rain this morning.

Brutal cold in Esquel today. Min of -17.5ºC and max of...-6.5ºC!! Great thermal gradient across the country, since Formosa, in the far north, had 29.8ºC.
Now the polar air is reaching the center of the country. It may bring some flurries in the lowlands of Mendoza, San Luis and La Pampa provinces tomorrow!
