Two words: down parka.

No one likes hot weather, do they? Otherwise why would people be running AC in their homes and cars?

Most people like warm weather, as do I. I also appreciate cool weather.

Then no one likes cold weather. Otherwise why would people be running heaters in their homes and cars?

That's right. A climate without need for heating or cooling is ideal.

Perhaps the question should be which would you rather recreate in outdoors, hot or cold.

I maintain that, while neither hot nor cold is desirable as a constant, one can accommodate, adjust to, and tolerate cold for short periods more easily than hot. I'm outside and active most of the winter wearing appropriately warm clothing, but there isn't much you can do to mitigate the situation when it's horribly hot and humid short of staying submerged in cool water. I simply don't believe anyone who claims to LOVE a heat index over 100. I'd bet my right arm they're never actually out in it.

Both 100F and 15F are equally bad. But the 100 can be tolerable if the humidity is low. 15F can be brutal if windy. Even 30F and windy is miserable.

If you're naked, yes. "There is no bad weather; only inappropriate clothing." I get the feeling that 80% of Americans have no idea what it is. They run around all winter wearing no coat, no gloves, and no hat and complain about the cold. Doh! Again, you can only take OFF so much; you can always put ON more (or more appropriate). Hence, cold is better. that's my story...

I'd be happy if it was never hotter than 75. Low 70s and low humidity is my definition of perfect.
Humidity is the only thing I'd change about summer here in Ohio. Other than that, I can take anything weather throws at us. I can take that too, but I sure don't like it and don't understand people who actually enjoy 80-90s heat coupled with high humidity.

But the 15 can be tolerable if the wind is calm. 100F can be brutal if humid. Even 85F and humid is miserable.
